I have an unyielding passion for crafting the perfect story through meticulous editing. Editing and drumming, my other passion, share striking similarities: timing is paramount, practice is indispensable, patience is crucial, and heartfelt expression is fundamental. A remarkable edit, akin to an exceptional drummer, remains inconspicuous; anything more would be mere showboating, in my humble opinion.
For me, the story reigns supreme, surpassing all else. While I thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with producers and clients, I am equally adept at taking charge and realigning our course when needed. My amiable personality sets others at ease, while my strong work ethic instills confidence that I will deliver. Punctuality is my norm, never missing a deadline. "If you're early, you're on time. If you're on time, you're late."
Although I was born and raised in Los Angeles, I have had the privilege of residing in Japan, Miami, and New York City. My travels have taken me to 15 countries thus far, and I have explored or traversed at least 32 states in the US, often while touring with a rock band. Graduating summa cum laude from UCLA with a degree in Music, I chose this path over film due to its more affordable nature.
Depending on the job, I use Avid Media Composer or Premiere Pro. I am also well-versed in Photoshop and After Effects. I also use Logic Pro X for sound and music editing.
